Equipment Delivery Associates are responsible for the safe transportation, delivery, placement, and recovery of commercial beverage equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Transportation & Delivery: Safely load, secure, transport, and unload commercial refrigeration units, vending equipment, and fountain systems using specialized delivery vehicles, liftgates, stair climbers, and pallet jacks.
On-Site Placement & Setup: Position, level, and perform basic non-technical setup or recovery of beverage equipment at customer sites according to service orders and facility guidelines.
Asset Tracking & Inventory: Accurately record equipment serial numbers, complete delivery manifests, verify placement paperwork, and process asset transfer receipts upon delivery or pickup.
Customer Service: Interact professionally with store managers, business owners, and field staff during deliveries, ensuring clear communication and minimal disruption to customer operations.
Vehicle Maintenance & Safety: Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, maintaining driving safety and keeping delivery vehicles clean and organized.
What We're Looking For
Driver's License & Record: Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record to qualify for company insurance coverage (Non-DOT position).
Screening Requirements: Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and a comprehensive background check.
Physical Demands: Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 100+ lbs using proper material handling tools (dollies, hand trucks, liftgates).
Experience: Material handling or warehouse experience is helpful, but not required (will train the right candidate).
Schedule: Standard day shifts, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or early morning starts as operational needs require.
